Chicago Cut Steakhouse

We landed at 945p and headed straight to luggage claim to get our bags so we could get our asses to the Four Points Sheraton in downtown Chicago. A quick 30 minute taxi ride and we were off to Chicago Cut for what Esquire magazine named one of their Best New Restaurants of 2011. I really wish I understood why. I ordered the bone in filet rare and a side of mushrooms, mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes. My friend Tu ordered the ribeye medium rare. The coolest thing of the night? The iPad cocktail/drink ordering menu.

Sable Kitchen and Bar

After dinner at Chicago Cut we wandered over to Sable for some drinks. I had to continue my Mescal spree in Chicago, even spotted a magnum display bottle of fernet hiding in the corner.

Watershed

Bar closes at 2a but they had last call at 145a. #fail
